Niall Horan Proposes To His 'Teenage Dream' Katy Perry -- And She Responded
Is another member of One Direction off the market?
Last month, Niall Horan tweeted his proposal to Katy Perry and on Halloween — while both were at a Tokyo radio station — she gave him her answer.
"She said yes ! It's happening! Haha," Niall wrote with an Instagram pic of the pair standing cheek-to-cheek.
But while they look awfully cute together, we're pretty positive Niall won't be taking a walk down the aisle, like his engaged band-mate Zayn Malik, since Katy seems very happy with boyfriend John Mayer.
That didn't stop Niall from stealing a kiss from his "lovely wife," though, and posing with his "groomsmen," the rest of the boys of One Direction.
"Today was so fun at music station in Tokyo!" Niall went on to tweet. "Had such a laugh with the lads and @katyperry ! Love that girl!"
Niall's love for Katy goes way back. Fans may not know that the "Roar" singer was pretty instrumental in helping to jump-start his career. In 2010, Perry was a guest judge on the "X Factor" U.K., where she cast the deciding vote to let Niall, who she called "adorable," through to boot camp.
Since then, the two haven't been shy about showing their admiration for each other, with Perry personally congratulating Niall in 2012 on Twitter when 1D's album, Up All Night hit #1. Later that year, they sealed their "relationship" with a kiss at the 2012 Video Music Awards.
A year later, just before the 2013 VMAs, Niall remincsed about the smooch: "I don't think there will ever be anything cooler than kissing her... until I marry her maybe!"

One Direction boys caked in the face onstage at their final Melbourne show
One Direction had cake and pies thrown in their faces at their last show in Melbourne - and the boy band's fans weren't the culprits.
The British supergroup's Aussie support act 5SOS started the one-sided food fight - which reportedly also involved whipped cream and water guns - after the two bands sang a cover of Teenage Dirtbag together on stage.
Their antics caused hearthrob Harry Styles to take a tumble and sent the bands' fans into a frenzy on T
The hashtag #WeAreProudOfYou5SOS was trending worldwide on the social media site.
It wasn't the first time 5SOS - which stands for Five Seconds of Summer - pulled a sneaky stunt on their tour mates.
The four members of the Sydney rock-pop band donned paper masks of Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson and ambushed them on stage during the final UK show of their worldwide tour in 2011.
5SOS member Luke Hemmings tweeted a warning before the show: "excited for the pranks tonight haha".
Style's sister and tour buddy, Gemma, followed suit: "Hey Melbourne. Prepare for pranks."
It was a wacky night at Rod Laver Arena, with Styles getting into the spirit of Halloween by carving a pumpkin backstage before the show and Horan donning a yellow Teletubbies head for part of the concert.
The show was the One Direction's last in Australia as part of the Take Me Home tour, and the last featuring up-and-comers 5SOS, a reality which evoked serious emotion from fans online.
"1D and 5SOS together at the last show of the TMH-tour ok now I'm gonna cry," one diehard fan tweeted.

They’ve been on quite a journey since they kicked off a staggering 100-date world tour in February – entertaining no less than 571,140 fans in the process.
So it’s no surprise the One Direction lads got a bit emotional as they waved goodbye to Australia and their Take Me Home tour adventure.
The world’s biggest boyband couldn’t hide their emotions as they played the last show Down Under ending their eight-month run of relentless gigging.
Niall, Zayn and Harry all appear to be crying in pictures taken by fans on the night.
But it’s not the impressive ticket sales – achieving 98% capacity over their ENTIRE tour – they have some ridiculous memories from the last month alone.
Liam Payne was sleeping butt-naked when a fan tried breaking into his hotel room.
Unable to pick the locks, the eager teenager climbed onto Liam’s balcony and stole a pair of his red Calvin Klein pants!
She was later caught, er, red handed by security clutching the boxers like her life depended on them.
Liam, of course, was also pictured with his pubes out as he jumped out of bed in hunt for the brief-thief.

Why One Direction 'Freaked Out' When They Heard 'Story Of My Life' .
Need a good cry? Well, One Direction officially released their latest Midnight Memories single, "Story Of My Life" to iTunes on Monday (October 28). And the folk -inspired ballad has Directioners shedding tears.
One part Mumford & Sons and five parts 1D, the track was written by Jamie Scott, John Ryan, Julian Bunetta and 1D and produced by Julian Bunetta and John Ryan. Scott explained to MTV News that everyone involved had one motto when they sat down to record the tune: "Let's just kind of write a song the guys can really dig and take this record to a new place."

Niall Horan leaves One Direction at home for a spot of Irish charm in Oz
Niall Horan may be loving the Oz lifestyle, but the Mullingar singer couldn’t resist popping into his local for a spot of familiar Irish charm.
The 20-year-old took a break from his busy touring schedule in Australia to drop into Irish bar Snug Public House in Melbourne.
Dressed casually in a white, patterned t-shirt, grey hooded jumper and jeans, the singer posed for a snapshot with the one of the bar’s owners Kim Keenan.
“Cheers to One Direction’s Niall Horan who dropped into the Snug Public House today for a feed and a few pints. Very nice young man who’s doing Mullingar proud!! Best of luck with the tour,” the pub wrote as they posted the snapshot online.
The pub, a popular spot for a familiar Irish face, have welcomed stars such as the Munster rugby legends and Brendan Grace through their doors.
It looks like Irish neighbours should keep an eye on the pub’s doors this weekend, as One Direction singers Niall Horan and Harry Styles have both said they’d choose a pub over a nightclub any night.
The boys said they prefer to catch up with friends in a place where they can have a chat.
“I never go out clubbing!” Niall told Bliss magazine.
“I only go to the pub.
“I hate clubs, you can’t talk to anyone. You have to shout at them!”
Harry added; “And there’s sticky tables!”

Selena Gomez reveals crush on Zayn Malik
Selena Gomez wouldn’t mind smooching one of One Direction’s band members in the future.
The 20-year-old actress-and-singer had a famously tumultuous relationship with teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber, which ended around New Year’s Eve.
Although the couple were together for about two years, Selena seems to have moved on quickly.
Selena is immersed in writing music at the moment and has fully embraced her singleton status.
In a recent interview on the radio, British boy band One Direction said that if they could kiss any star, they would choose Selena.
She is flattered by the revelation as she has great respect for the group, which is comprised of Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson.
“That’s really nice! I love all of them,” Selena gushed to Extra.
“They're so sweet. They’re really good guys.”
Selena also revealed which One Direction member she would kiss given the opportunity.
“Oh, no… Zayn!” she blushed.
Selena played a rebellious college student in graphic forthcoming drama Spring Breakers.
The star is really dedicated to her work because she loves it.
“I had such a good time taking a year off and just focusing on movies and acting,” she explained.
“I’m continuing to want to do more of that, but I’m also having so much fun with music!”
Selena is set to release an album in March but won't unveil any of her new tracks yet.

One Direction To Launch Jewellery Line At Argos
One Direction are set to follow in the footsteps of boyband JLS by launching their own jewellery line at high-street retailer, Argos.
According to Digital Spy, fans will soon be able to get their hands on 1D silver bracelets and necklaces, with the range thought to be priced between £13 and £30, much like JLS' collection.
The Kiss You group already have their own dolls, as well as inking a deal to release a range of electronics with US firm Jazwares, with their line featuring speakers, headphones and walkie talkies.
In other One Direction news, the boys are said to have hired wealth management firm Grant Thornton to help deal with their estimated combined worth of £26.33 million ($41.72 million).
A source told The Mirror: "Their success is quite staggering - so are the profits coming with it. The lads had an incredible 2012 and this year looks even bigger.
"Although they're all mature for their age, they are still five young boys at heart, and have all made mistakes - it's part of growing up.
"They've now been assigned a small team at one of the country's top money service providers who will be advising the boys on matters of tax, capital and investment.
"One Direction have become one of Sony's biggest draws and the label wants to make sure the guys are looked after."

As the One Direction lads prepare for their upcoming “Take Me Home” tour, MTV News reported this Tuesday, Jan. 8, that the talented British boy band just signed a contract with Sony that will likely keep 1D “together” for no less than three years. One Direction’s official Twitter page has also asked fans of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and the other members to get creative this Wednesday in making some special birthday cards for Zayn Malik’s upcoming birthday this Saturday, Jan. 12.
Although fellow fans of One Direction would likely never want to imagine the boy band splitting apart, there’s little chance of that happening, sources report this week. A press release from The Sun this Monday have confirmed that the popular “Kiss You” singers just signed a major contract via Sony that will help ensure the band has to stay close together in their music for three years.
“It’s a really clever contract that [the One Direction boys] have signed up with. It means they have a real incentive now to tough it out the next three years and stay together.”

Mullingar lad Niall Horan has celebrated passing his driving test by splashing our on a £70,000 Range Rover.
According to reports, the One Directioner bought his new wheels after he received his full licence last week.
The Sun says that 19-year-old Horan made just two mistakes during his test in Borehamwood, Essex, following an intensive 25-hour course of lessons.
A "source" said: "He stopped to speak with fans and signed lots of autographs during his lessons. He never turned anyone down who wanted to get their picture taken with him. Even with all of that, his instructor was still overheard saying he had never had a pupil so focused on passing his test."
Horan had apparently been relying on his pushbike until he passed his test.
Horan and One Direction recently signed a new financial contract with Sony to ensure they stay together for the next three years.
"The formal length is for 36 months and an album a year - but the clever part is they get the big pay day after the three years," a "source" said.

Little Mix hope to carry on in One Direction's footsteps
The Little Mix ladies are hoping to follow in One Direction’s successful footsteps after signing a record deal with Columbia Records in America – who 1D are also signed to.
The girls are looking forward to making their mark on the US market, with Wings set to be their first release across the pond.
The deal will especially be welcomed by Perrie Edwards, who has witnessed boyfriend Zayn Malik, and the rest of 1D, become the hottest act Stateside.
But success comes at a price and One Direction spend a great deal of time away from home, with some predicting Zayn and Perrie could be apart for up to eight months this year.
Now, it looks like this will be reduced with the stars set to have more time together in the US, as the Brit invasion in the charts continues.
Little Mix recently spoke to US magazine Twist about their hopes for this year, with Jade Thirlwall saying: "We want to show everybody what we're about and bring out our first single over here.”
Jesy Nelson added: “"We wanted our first single to be a song that meant something to us, but also meant a lot to our fans.
"We wanted an uplifting message about believing in yourself, listening to what your mum says (because she's always right!) and just not letting any negativity bring you down."
Perrie is known in America for being the doting girlfriend of heartthrob Zayn. She was photographed cuddling up to the star in New York in December, when 1D were performing at Madison Square Garden.
Now, 2013 will see Perrie recognised as a musician in her own right, with Little Mix set to take the US by storm.
