Selena Gomez reveals crush on Zayn Malik

Selena Gomez wouldn’t mind smooching one of One Direction’s band members in the future.

The 20-year-old actress-and-singer had a famously tumultuous relationship with teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber, which ended around New Year’s Eve.

Although the couple were together for about two years, Selena seems to have moved on quickly.

Selena is immersed in writing music at the moment and has fully embraced her singleton status.

In a recent interview on the radio, British boy band One Direction said that if they could kiss any star, they would choose Selena.

She is flattered by the revelation as she has great respect for the group, which is comprised of Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson.

“That’s really nice! I love all of them,” Selena gushed to Extra.

“They're so sweet. They’re really good guys.”

Selena also revealed which One Direction member she would kiss given the opportunity.

“Oh, no… Zayn!” she blushed.

Selena played a rebellious college student in graphic forthcoming drama Spring Breakers.

The star is really dedicated to her work because she loves it.

“I had such a good time taking a year off and just focusing on movies and acting,” she explained.

“I’m continuing to want to do more of that, but I’m also having so much fun with music!”

Selena is set to release an album in March but won't unveil any of her new tracks yet.

One Direction To Launch Jewellery Line At Argos

One Direction are set to follow in the footsteps of boyband JLS by launching their own jewellery line at high-street retailer, Argos.
According to Digital Spy, fans will soon be able to get their hands on 1D silver bracelets and necklaces, with the range thought to be priced between £13 and £30, much like JLS' collection.
The Kiss You group already have their own dolls, as well as inking a deal to release a range of electronics with US firm Jazwares, with their line featuring speakers, headphones and walkie talkies.
In other One Direction news, the boys are said to have hired wealth management firm Grant Thornton to help deal with their estimated combined worth of £26.33 million ($41.72 million).
A source told The Mirror: "Their success is quite staggering - so are the profits coming with it. The lads had an incredible 2012 and this year looks even bigger.
"Although they're all mature for their age, they are still five young boys at heart, and have all made mistakes - it's part of growing up.
"They've now been assigned a small team at one of the country's top money service providers who will be advising the boys on matters of tax, capital and investment.
"One Direction have become one of Sony's biggest draws and the label wants to make sure the guys are looked after."

Louis Tomlinson may have millions of girls swooning after him but it seems he only has eyes for one, admitting his love for girlfriend Eleanor Calder as his bandmate Harry Styles deals with his alleged split from Taylor Swift.
The 1D hottie has been dating the gorgeous model for just over a year, and are barely apart from each other's side for too long with Eleanor often jetting to the US to keep Louis company as he tours with the band.

It seems as though the couple couldn't be more right for each other, with Louis revealing exactly why he loves the model.

"Aside from the fact that she’s hot, she had everything that I was looking for. She’s funny, loud and confident," Louis told Seventeen magazine.
"I’m not the type of guy who enjoys being single. I told her I loved her after five months. I didn’t just wake up one day and think I was in love – I knew it in my heart."

Zayn Malik And Perrie Edwards Together Forever? 'He Loves Her To Pieces'

 It appear that Harry Styles isn't the only one who is loved up as his band mate Zayn Malik is aswell!
Gushing about Zayn and his relationship with her Little Mix bandmate Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson told Capital FM recently:
"He is absolutely smitten with her. He loves her to pieces”, before adding that the One Direction hottie has been given the seal of approval from herself and her bandmates.

Whilst all is going well on the romance front for Zayn and Perrie, Zayn had to recently deal with Twitter trolls making nasty comments about his family, including his sister.
Of the horrible tweets Zayn's sister received earlier this year, The Daily Star On Sunday reported a source claiming:
"Zayn is sickened that people could write such horrible things about his ­sisters and his mum and dad. He is not bothered about ­people saying things about him but for someone to write that a little girl has cancer just for the fun of it is totally obscene.
"Equally, for someone who is a distant relative to bring the honour of his mother and father into disrepute and claim he and his sister have different dads is ­offensive. His parents have been ­inseparable for years and the claims are just lies."

One Direction's birthday plans for Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and 1D lads 'together'

As the One Direction lads prepare for their upcoming “Take Me Home” tour, MTV News reported this Tuesday, Jan. 8, that the talented British boy band just signed a contract with Sony that will likely keep 1D “together” for no less than three years. One Direction’s official Twitter page has also asked fans of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and the other members to get creative this Wednesday in making some special birthday cards for Zayn Malik’s upcoming birthday this Saturday, Jan. 12.
Although fellow fans of One Direction would likely never want to imagine the boy band splitting apart, there’s little chance of that happening, sources report this week. A press release from The Sun this Monday have confirmed that the popular “Kiss You” singers just signed a major contract via Sony that will help ensure the band has to stay close together in their music for three years.

    

If Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, or any of the band members do choose to leave before 2016, they will reportedly receive a “substantial” less amount of money. Said the source on the Sony contract to MTV News:
“It’s a really clever contract that [the One Direction boys] have signed up with. It means they have a real incentive now to tough it out the next three years and stay together.”
In other One Direction news, 1D fans have their work cut out for them this week as it was posted on Twitter this afternoon that with Zayn Malik’s birthday already on its way this Saturday, Jan. 12, the site is asking followers to make their own creative cards to wish the “Take Me Home” star a happy birthday.

It will certainly help pass the time as we 1D fans continue to wait this month for the upcoming return to the great “Take Me Home” tour.

Mullingar lad Niall Horan has celebrated passing his driving test by splashing our on a £70,000 Range Rover.

According to reports, the One Directioner bought his new wheels after he received his full licence last week.
The Sun says that 19-year-old Horan made just two mistakes during his test in Borehamwood, Essex, following an intensive 25-hour course of lessons.
A "source" said: "He stopped to speak with fans and signed lots of autographs during his lessons. He never turned anyone down who wanted to get their picture taken with him. Even with all of that, his instructor was still overheard saying he had never had a pupil so focused on passing his test."
Horan had apparently been relying on his pushbike until he passed his test.
Horan and One Direction recently signed a new financial contract with Sony to ensure they stay together for the next three years.
"The formal length is for 36 months and an album a year - but the clever part is they get the big pay day after the three years," a "source" said.

"If one of them walks away before then, then all five miss out on the money. They don't miss out on a few quid either, we are talking millions."

What a year it’s been for One Direction! We’ve been looking back over the last twelve months over here at 1DHQ, and we can’t believe the amount of things the boys have achieved!

Little Mix hope to carry on in One Direction's footsteps

                                   








The Little Mix ladies are hoping to follow in One Direction’s successful footsteps after signing a record deal with Columbia Records in America – who 1D are also signed to.
The girls are looking forward to making their mark on the US market, with Wings set to be their first release across the pond.
The deal will especially be welcomed by Perrie Edwards, who has witnessed boyfriend Zayn Malik, and the rest of 1D, become the hottest act Stateside.
But success comes at a price and One Direction spend a great deal of time away from home, with some predicting Zayn and Perrie could be apart for up to eight months this year.
Now, it looks like this will be reduced with the stars set to have more time together in the US, as the Brit invasion in the charts continues.
Little Mix recently spoke to US magazine Twist about their hopes for this year, with Jade Thirlwall saying: "We want to show everybody what we're about and bring out our first single over here.”
Jesy Nelson added: “"We wanted our first single to be a song that meant something to us, but also meant a lot to our fans.
"We wanted an uplifting message about believing in yourself, listening to what your mum says (because she's always right!) and just not letting any negativity bring you down."
Perrie is known in America for being the doting girlfriend of heartthrob Zayn. She was photographed cuddling up to the star in New York in December, when 1D were performing at Madison Square Garden.
Now, 2013 will see Perrie recognised as a musician in her own right, with Little Mix set to take the US by storm.

Liam Payne

Liam James Payne,^[113] born (1993-08-29) 29 August 1993 (age 19), is from Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England.^[96] Born three weeks early to mother Karen and father Geoff,^[96][114] he has two older sisters, Ruth and Nicola.^[99] Until the age of four, Payne had regular tests done in hospital as doctors noticed one of his kidneys was scarred and dysfunctional.^[114] To help cope with the pain, he had 32 injections in his arm in the morning and evening as a child.^[114] As a student, Payne was heavily involved in sports.^[100] Payne was bullied in secondary school and took up boxing lessons at the age of twelve.^[100] He was a music technology student at City of Wolverhampton College.^[115]

Louis Tomlinson
