13 days people, we only have 13 days left to wait until we finally get some brand new tour footage from the One Direction boys!
Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Harry Styles have been rehearsing for weeks, preparing for months and on 25th April they’ll be taking to the stage in Estadio El Campin, Bogota, Colombia for the first show of their Where We Are tour.
The band announced their stadium gigs almost a year ago, so we’ve had to wait for such a long time for this to roll around. But think about it, in less than two weeks we’ll be able to once again spend hours and hours on Youtube watching brand new live footage and performances. We’ll get to see 1D making funny jokes with their audiences, the brand new video question section that we’ve heard so much about and maybe, just maybe, someone will hit Harry with a shoe again so I get to see this face.

No I'm only joking.
I don’t want to see that really.
As if all that isn’t enough, we’ll also be treated to the first live performances of many new tracks which the boys recorded for their most recent album.
Midnight Memories was released in November last year and topped charts all around the world, but apart from the tunes that have been released as singles, we haven’t heard the fab five sing most of the songs themselves yet.

In just 13 days that is all about to change!
For those of you that don’t live in South America, you don’t have too long to wait until 1D return home either. The Where We Are European leg kicks off in just 41 days, while fans in North America will see the X Factor stars in person when the shows hit the US in 109 days time.
So what about the Where We Are tour setlist? Well of course the whole thing hasn’t been confirmed yet but fans who have been stalking the boys outside their London studio have revealed which tunes are being practiced. Click on the setlist link above to find out if your favourites are in there.
Liam revealed recently that the band have hired themselves a pyrotechnic expert, so the shows aren’t going to be all about the music. There are going to be some epic fireworks throughout the gigs too and Payne teased:
“It’s gonna be like bonfire night all over again.”
Meanwhile, Niall told Capital FM that the tour is going to be ‘literally ridiculous’ because of all the experts they have involved. The group are working with the man behind Robbie Williams’ recent Take The Crown stadium shows and apparently the stage he’s planned out is out of this world.
